Cookie Policy
What we track, why we track it, and how to turn it off
This Cookie Policy explains how LendSeek uses cookies and similar technologies on www.lendseek.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more generally. By continuing to use this site, you agree to our use of cookies as described below.
What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — including browser local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels — work the same way and are covered by this policy. Cookies set by us are called first-party cookies; cookies set by our advertising and analytics providers are third-party cookies.
Session cookies are erased when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off through this site. They include the session cookie that keeps you signed in to secured areas and the CSRF token that protects our forms from cross-site request forgery. Blocking them in your browser will break application forms and other core features.
Attribution & Functional Cookies
We set first-party cookies beginning with lendseek_ that persist for up to 90 days. These record how you found us so we can credit the right marketing channel, keep your application experience consistent across pages, and avoid asking you for the same information twice. They include:
- Referral source — first-touch and last-touch source of your visit
- Advertising click identifiers — values such as
gclid, fbclid, msclkid, andttclidpassed by ad platforms when you click an ad - Campaign parameters —
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_content, andutm_term - An anonymous visitor identifier — a randomly generated ID that is not derived from your name, email, or phone number
- Visit history — first visit timestamp, landing page, referring site, and visit count
If you start an application or use our chat assistant, your in-progress answers may also be saved in your browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Analytics Cookies
We use analytics services to understand which pages are used, how visitors move through the site, and where our content or forms cause friction. These services set their own cookies and receive information about your visit, including pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and referring site.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — site usage and conversion measurement
- Umami — privacy-focused traffic analytics
Advertising & Conversion Cookies
We advertise on third-party platforms and use their cookies and pixels to measure which ads lead to applications and to show you relevant ads on other sites and apps. These providers may combine information from your visit with data they already hold about you, and may use it for their own purposes including cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Google Ads (Google LLC) — conversion tracking and remarketing
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — conversion tracking and audience building for Facebook and Instagram ads
- Microsoft Advertising UET (Microsoft Corporation) — conversion tracking for Bing ads
How to Control Cookies
You have several ways to limit or remove cookies:
- Browser settings — every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and most offer a setting to reject third-party cookies specifically. Check your browser's help pages for instructions.
- Google — manage your ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com, or opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Meta — adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
- Microsoft — manage personalized advertising at account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings.
- Industry opt-outs — the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info and the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org offer opt-outs covering many advertising partners at once.
Blocking analytics and advertising cookies will not prevent you from using this site or submitting an application. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will.
Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Browsers and browser extensions may transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to it, and this site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. If you want us to stop using your information for targeted advertising, use the opt-out methods above or contact us directly at the address below and we will honor your request.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as the tools we use change. The version posted on this page is the version in effect. Material changes will be reflected here, so please check back periodically.
